This is our 1st Annual Dawg Days of Summer event here in Peterborough. We are raising funds to help support the Lions Club Dog Guide Foundation Peterborough. Vet Visionaries' Peterborough will be putting on a Micro-Chipping/Rabies clinic at the event. There will be a Silent Auction of awesome items donated by our local businesses. Enter our Pet Photo contest. Dog Guides will be putting on a demonstration with many of their dogs. Shop away with 40 vendors that have unique items, and services. We will have Emergency Medical Consults providing First Aid and Pet First Aid at the event. We will give away 75 swag bags to the first 75 customers donated by Life Force Pet products. Come on out and bring your 4 legged friend and enjoy a fun filled day at the Lions Community Center in Peterborough on June 17, 2017 from 10 am to 4 pm, and help support our local Lions Club Dog Guide Foundation. Putting people and Pets first in our community. Businesses wanting to help our cause by donating an item for our silent auction and vendors looking to participate please contact us. The Alzheimer Society of Peterborough, Kawartha Lakes, Northumberland & Haliburton (ASPKLNH) invites applications from individuals interested in applying for the position of Director on our Board of Directors. ASPKLNH Board members represent a variety of professional disciplines including health and/or health information, law, government relations, finance, and/or fund raising. Volunteers contribute approximately 10 hours per month, including in-house committee work, and attending monthly meetings ten times per year in Peterborough. Term of office is for three (3) consecutive years. Applicants must be a principle resident of and/or have his/her primary place of business or employment in Kawartha Lakes, Northumberland or Haliburton.
